“Kieran, I really don’t get the point of this...” Codex mumbled, lying on the grass beside his friend and the smaller raptor smiled, green eyes flicking over to look into red.

Around them, several docile Saurians roamed the plains while the two stared up at the bright blue sky. Kieran was trying to teach Codex how to spot pictures in the white puffy clouds that flitted across the sky every now and then. “All you got to do is find a picture in the clouds, watch.” Kieran lifted up a clawed hand and he looked around at the clouds before grinning cutely as he spotted one and he pointed to it. “That one looks like a rabbit, see?”

Codex looked up at the cloud Kieran pointed to and frowned, narrowing his eyes slightly as he saw the puffy cloud. “Ran... it looks nothing like a rabbit. It just looks like a random puff of white smoke.”

Kieran giggled and shook his head. “No, Dex, you gotta use your imagination or it won’t work.”

Codex sighed and closed his eyes, nodding even though he didn’t want to do this. “Alright,” he agreed and opened his eyes again, looking at the clouds in the sky, trying hard to find something just so he could make the other happy. “Um... that one looks like... a...” he frowned and then sighed again, “Sorry, Ran, I don’t see anything.”

Kieran smiled and moved over to kiss Codex’s cheek. “Aw, that’s okay.” He trilled happily and Codex blinked stupidly before looking away, a very light pink blush dusting his cheeks.
