Codex smirked, amusement lighting his crimson eyes as he watched his 'twin' 'paw' at the water, trying to catch the many beautiful multi-colored fish that swam in the river their camp rested near. "That's never going to work, Ran." He trilled, chuckling when Kieran stuck his tongue out before squeaking when a fish jumped at him, flicking water at his muzzle with its tail.

"Hey! That's cheating!" Kieran puffed his cheeks out before making another grab at a fish, obviously failing on purpose, now that Codex realized it. Codex stared in bewilderment as the fish flicked water at the Velon again and he couldn't help but smile as he saw the genuine childish happiness that spread across the Dinaurian's expression as clear as day.

He took a few steps towards the river, hoping to get a clearer view of his friend, but he was stopped when another fish jumped out of the water and sprayed him. "What the-!?" Codex shouted, dripping wet and Kieran turned to him in surprise before bursting into laughter; Codex sent a wary glare to the fish that swam in happy little circles in the water before looking to Kieran with a sly smirk. "Oh, you think that's funny huh?" He mock-growled at Kieran and the Velon squeaked when Codex tackled him, both landing in the water, and by now both of them were laughing.
